Spruce up the drawing above by adding the following things. Which do you think are most important? Which would you add first?

Draw in a sun and color it bright yellow. Let its rays shine on all the plants to give them energy to grow. Draw in another rain cloud and color them both gray. Don't forget to draw the raindrops! Many people in the world pray for rain every day, and their lives depend on their access to this life-giving and sustaining resource. Let it rain down!

Draw in a cistern to catch and hold rainwater for the people to drink, water their crops, etc. How do you think the cistern can catch even more water? If you place it next to a building, the runoff from the roof can be channeled into the cistern too!

Draw more trees on the hillsides, and color them green. How are trees good for the land?

Draw a church on the hillside. Why do you think a church is important in the community? Finally, draw in a community of people who live and work and play there. Would you like to live in a place like this? How does this community compare with your home? What's different?
