Floresta acknowledges the passionate efforts of Susan Lenczyk, our East Coast Representative.   She has spent countless hours during the last eight months, contacting dozens of foundations and writing grant proposals on Floresta’s behalf.  Her efforts help us to greatly increase our profile and our chances of securing new sources of funding.   Thank you, Susan!

Rick Moncauskas

Rick traveled with Floresta to Haiti and Oaxaca this summer to document our work on video.  He braved an attempted coup in Haiti, a high-centered bus in Mexico and all sorts of exotic food, to put together what is easily the best video that Floresta has ever had.  We thank him for his dedication and for the countless hours he has dedicated to healing the land and its people.
